New COVID-19 Case Numbers On Central, South Coasts Remain Low

But Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo Counties still in Red Tier

While we are continuing to see spikes in the new COVID-19 case count in some parts of the country, the totals in the state, and on the Central and South Coasts continue to trend on the low side.

217 additional cases were reported during the three day period from Saturday through Monday. Ventura County has 79, Santa Barbara County 83, and San Luis Obispo County 55.

One new COVID-19 related death was reported in the region, bringing the total to 1701 since the start of the pandemic.

Ventura County is in the state’s Orange reopening Tier, while Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties remain one step back, in the Red Tiers.
