New COVID-19 Case Count Continues To Drop On Central, South Coasts But 10 More Deaths Reported

The downward trend in COVID-19 cases on the Central and South Coasts appears to be holding strong.  177 new cases were reported in the region over the three day period from Saturday through Monday.  There were 79 in Ventura County, 61 in Santa Barbara County, and just 37 in San Luis Obispo Counties.

Looking at the totals by counties, Ventura County is at 78,792, Santa Barbara County 32,634, and San Luis Obispo County 20,078.

There have been just over 131,500 cases in the Tri-Counties since the start of the pandemic.

But, the death toll continues to rise.  Ten more deaths were reported in the three counties, bringing the total to 1614 since the start of the pandemic.
