Another Rough Day On COVID-19 Front For Central, South Coasts

The latest COVID-19 numbers on the Central and South Coasts remain on the high side.  1259 cases were reported Tuesday in the region, including 737 in Ventura County, 264 in Santa Barbara County and 258 in San Luis Obispo Counties.

Six additional deaths were reported in Ventura County, which pushes the three-county total to 431.

The intensive care unit capacity in the 11-county Southern California region which includes Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties remains at 0%.  Ventura County is also at 0% for the first time.  The ICU capacity was the determining factor in the new stay and home orders.  They were triggered after the region dropped below the 15% threshold.
