Another South Coast Community Reopens Playgrounds, But COVID-19 Safety Rules Part Of Plan

Another community on the Central and South Coasts has reopened its playgrounds.  Goleta’s parks are again available for use, with certain restrictions.

Everyone older than two must wear a mask.  Social distancing is required, so that may mean waiting with your children at a safe distance if playground equipment is in use.

It’s also suggested you avoid playgrounds at peak times, which are usually weekday afternoons, as well as weekends from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  And, organized group activities with people outside of your household are still banned because of concern about potential COVID-19 spreading.
