New Coronavirus Case Count For Central, South Coasts One Of The Lowest In Months

The Central and South Coasts have recorded some of their lowest numbers of daily new coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.

55 cases were reported Tuesday.  There were 20 in Ventura County, 22 in Santa Barbara County, and 13 in San Luis Obispo County. 

More than 26,100 cases have now been reported overall in the three counties since the start of the pandemic.  The totals include 13,065 cases in Ventura County, 9340 in Ventura County, and 3755 in San Luis Obispo County.

Most of those diagnosed with the virus have already recovered.

300 coronavirus related deaths have been reported in the region since the start of the crisis.
