Latest Coronavirus Numbers Remain On Low Side For Central, South Coasts

The number of new coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts is continuing to drop.  101 new cases were reported on the Central and South Coasts Tuesday, continuing the downward trend.  There were 54 cases in Ventura County, 32 in Santa Barbara County and 15 in San Luis Obispo County. 

There have been 25,483 thousand cases in the region since the start of the pandemic.   Ventura County has had 12,707 cases, Santa Barbara County 9164, and San Luis Obispo County 3612.  Most of those diagnosed with the virus have already recovered.

Two additional deaths were reported in the region yesterday, both in San Luis Obispo County.  It brings the total for the three counties to 294.  Ventura County has had 150, Santa Barbara County 113, and San Luis Obispo County 31.
