South Coast Neighborhood Combines Social Distancing With Social Get Together

A Santa Barbara County neighborhood has come with its own plan for social distgancing together, with a weekly Sunday block party

It’s been three months since the coronavirus crisis hit the Central and South Coasts.  We’ve had to live with stay at home and social distancing orders.

Residents of one South Coast neighborhood have turned social distancing into a social get together, with six feet spacing, of course.

A block party they hold every Sunday has been turning longtime neighbors into close friends.

It's a "blocktail party" in a Santa Barbara neighborhood which brings together on Sunday evenings.  It's taken people who would wave across the street to each other into friends
