The number of confirmed coronavirus cases on the Central and South Coasts continues to grow, with nearly two dozen new ones reported. The latest numbers show 1238 confirmed coronavirus cases in the region.
There are 544 in Ventura County, 506 in Santa Barbara County, and 188 in San Luis Obispo County.
We’ve had 27 deaths in the region. There have been 18 in Ventura County, eight in Santa Barbara County, and one in San Luis Obispo Counties. Most of the deaths involved older adults with preexisting health issues.
