After an alarm went off and police arrived at a Santa Barbara dental business Sunday morning, a suspect inside was found cornered in a very small space.
Police say the first officers there found him after they saw his foot, but the man wouldn't surrender.
A police canine was sent into the attic, and forced the man to surrender.
The suspect was injured, and after being taken out via a vent, he was treated at Cottage Hospital.
The Santa Barbara man was believed to be under the influence of drugs.
