Nearly 20% of Broadway theater tickets are being snapped up by people attending musicals and plays on their own, double what it was a couple of years ago, according to the latest data from the Broadway League.
A theater operator with venues across the U.S., UK and Europe is now taking steps to actively encourage audience members to fly solo.
