New center opens on Central Coast to help storm victims

More help is available for storm victims in the Tri-Counties.

FEMA, Small Business Administration officials will be on hand at Solvang Center to answer questions, help with aid applications.

A new center has opened on the Central Coast to help victims of the recent storms in the Tri-Counties.

The New Disaster Loan Outreach Center is at the Solvang Superior Court Building. FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration officials will be on hand to answer questions, and help with loan applications.

The Solvang center will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturdays.

There’s another center at the Orcutt Union School District offices. It’s open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. weekdays. The Small Business Administration deadline to apply for help for property damage in March 16.
