A planned rocket launch from the Central Coast that’s been postponed three times is now set for Friday morning.
SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 51 small communications satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 10:38 a.m.
The launch was postponed twice earlier this week by bad weather, and then a third time because the company was busy with another launch from Florida.
Plans call for the reusable first stage booster to land on a barge off the Baja California coast. If the weather permits, the SpaceX launch should be visible throughout much of the Tri-Counties.
