An Arizona man is accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend in Thousand Oaks, setting off an explosion outside of her home.

Detectives say he was stalking his ex.

Detectives say a man blew up an explosive device outside of the home of an ex-girlfriend he was stalking in Ventura County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 100 block of South Fallbrook Avenue in Thousand Oaks by reports of an explosion January 28.

No one was hurt. But, deputies learned that a woman in the neighborhood was being stalked by her ex-boyfriend. Detectives took over the case.

They say they found evidence linking the Arizona man to the explosion, and got an arrest warrant. Salvatore Sorbello was arrested Tuesday on charges of using an explosive device, and stalking.
