A South Coast job fair is trying to match employers with prospective employees.

More than a dozen businesses are set to take part in the Goleta event.

With unemployment dropping to pre-pandemic levels on the Central and South Coasts, some businesses in the hospitality industry are struggling to fill some job openings.

On Wednesday, Santa Barbara will be the scene of a career fair intended to match employers with prospective employees. More than a dozen businesses will be represented, including a number of local hotels.

The Leta hotel in Goleta will host the job fair, which will take place from 4-6 p.m.

It’s sponsored by Visit Santa Barbara, which is the marketing organization representing the tourism and hospitality industry in Southern Santa Barbara County.
