Actor Brendan Fraser is set to receive the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's American Riviera Award.

Fraser will receive American Riviera Award at 2023 festival.

An actor who's starred in everything from dramas to action films is going to be one of the big honorees at the 2023 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

Brendan Fraser will receive the festival's American Riviera Award. He's currently involved in three movies, including The Whale, the story of an reclusive teacher trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter. He's also set to star in a western from Hollywood icon Martin Scorsese.

Past winners of the award include Jeff Bridges, Robert Redford, Quentin Tarantino, Patricia Arquette, Sandra Bullock, and Diane Lane.

The 38th annual festival is set to take place February 8-18 of next year.
