But, weather could be an issue.

We’re getting close to the final countdown for a rocket launch from the Central Coast, but the weather remains iffy.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket is set to lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 3:07 p.m. Friday. The rocket is carrying a payload of more than 50 small Starlink satellites. They’re part of what is intended to be a network of thousands of the satellites bringing internet service to underserved parts of the planet.

One of the big issues remains the weather. At last report, the weather is less than 50/50 of what’s needed for a safe liftoff.
