San Luis Obispo International Film Festival underway, featuring dozens of events.

This is a big week for movie fans on the Central Coast. After two years off due to the pandemic, the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival is back as a live, in person celebration.

Dozens of screenings are taking place at more than a half-dozen theaters in the county. There are feature films, documentaries, and student films being featured.

One of the most popular events will take place tomorrow night. It’s called “Surf Night in SLO”. The event at the Sunset Drive-in will feature a live band playing surf music, followed by a classic surf film.

The SLO Film Fest runs through Sunday. Click here for festival schedule.
