Job outlook continues to improve on Central and South Coasts

California's unemployment slipped below 5% in March.

Jobless rate plummets throughout Tri-Counties; State also shows substantional improvement.

Unemployment has dropped to pre-pandemic levels on the Central and South Coasts.

The jobless rate in Ventura County went from 4.1% in February to 3.5% in March.

Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties also had dramatic improvement. In Santa Barbara County, unemployment went from 4.3% in February to 3.5% in March. And, San Luis Obispo County dropped below three percent, going from 3.3% in February to 2.8% last month.

The state also showed more signs of an employment comeback. California went from 5.3% jobless rate in February to 4.9% last month.
