It's about time! Significant (and much needed) rain in the forecast for the Central and South Coasts

A major Pacific storm is headed to the Central and South Coasts

Parts of the region could get 2-4 inches of rain.

A Pacific storm could bring the first significant rainfall of 2022 to the Central and South Coasts. The storm will arrive late Sunday, with some of the strongest rainfall coming overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

The heaviest rainfall could be in Western San Luis Obispo County. But, mountains throughout the region could see 2-4” of rain, with coastal and inland areas 1-2”.

Thunderstorms are possible throughout the region Monday.

The storm is expected to clear out by Tuesday morning. There are no watches or warnings in place at this point for flooding, or debris flow issues in the region’s brush fire burn zones.
