Four arrested in connection with South Coast murder

Four people are now in custody in connection with a Santa Barbara murder March 20.

Ventura County man fatally stabbed during confrontation in Santa Barbara County.

Four people are now in custody in connection with a weekend stabbing on the South Coast which left a man dead.

Santa Barbara Police say they’ve arrested three men, and a woman for the early Sunday morning attack on Milpas Street.

Detectives say there was a confrontation which left Valentine Hernandez of Port Hueneme fatally injured. There’s no word on what led to the attack.

Investigators say they arrested Carlos Zavala of Santa Barbara on a murder charge. Alejandro Zarco of Santa Barbara, Jesus Zavala-Zazueta of Port Hueneme, and Leticia Munoz of Oxnard were arrested on conspiracy charges related to the killing.
