Four people have been arrested in connection with a sting of graffiti vandalism incidents in, and around the Camarillo area.

Ventura County Sheriff's investigators say there's been a surge of graffiti-related crimes in the area since the beginning of the year.

Deputies say they caught an adult, and two teenagers in the act of vandalizing a bike path last month. They say a follow up investigation led to the arrest of a fourth teen.

After getting search warrants, detectives with the Camarillo Police Department's Special Enforcement Unit served them at multiple locations in Ventura County. Detectives say they seized a large number of paint cans, and other evidence linked to the vandalism.
