Firefighters appear to be getting the upper hand on a wildfire in Santa Barbara County.

Containment is now up to 50% on the 100 acre Hollister Ranch Fire.

It started at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Santa Barbara County firefighters had to deal with erratic wind conditions through the weekend. Some evacuations were ordered Saturday.

However, no homes were damaged, and the evacuation orders have since been lifted. There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
