Woman arrested following string of arson attacks on South Coast

There's been an arrest in connection with some arson attacks targeting vehicles in Oxnard.

Detectives say arsonist targeted vehicles in Oxnard.

Detectives say they’ve arrested a serial arsonist who’s set fire to a number of vehicles on the South Coast.

Oxnard Police say someone torched a number of vehicles in the city during the last month.

They say they were able to get some key evidence, including surveillance video, which let to the arrest of an Oxnard woman.

Alejandra Nunez is facing two felony arson counts. Detectives say they are looking to see if the 42-year-old woman may be responsible for additional unreported arson attacks.
