South Coast Man Pleads Guilty To Fatally Stabbing Brother

Prosecutors expect a 12 year sentence in the case.

It was an argument between two Ventura County brothers which led to one of them stabbing the other one to death.

Now, the man wielding the knife has plead guilty to a voluntary manslaughter charge.

Luis and Gilbert Aceves lived in the family’s home in Camarillo. Prosecutors say the two men got into an argument, and Luis fatally stabbed his brother Gilbert.

It’s expected Aceves will receive a 12 year state prison sentence for the 2017 killing.
