Ventura County Business Damaged By Fire; Man Arrested On Arson Charge

Sheriff's, Fire Department Arson Investigators ID Suspect And Make Arrest

Arson investigators say they’ve arrested a Ventura County man for an intentionally set fire which damaged a business.

The blaze happened Wednesday morning on the 700 block of East Ponderosa Drive in Camarillo. Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department investigators say a fire set in some bush spread to a nearby commercial building.

It caused cause some damage to the building before it was extinguished.

Investigators say they identified Gregory Gilbreath of Camarillo as a suspect in the fire. The 56-year-old man was arrested a felony arson charge.
