176 new COVID-19 cases were reported on the Central and South Coasts Thursday, as the region continues to move towards lower numbers which could mean the expansion of business and community activities.
Ventura County posted 81 additional cases, Santa Barbara County 50, and San Luis Obispo County 45.
The COVID-19 related death toll is also continuing to drop. Five additional deaths were reported Thursday, all in Ventura County.
The region’s total since the start of the pandemic stands at 1655 deaths.
