One big storm is in the record books for the Tri-Counties, but another is on the way.
Last weekend’s storm dropped one to three inches of rain on much of the region. In Ventura County, Oxnard had 1.8” of rain, Camarillo 1.6”, Thousand Oaks 1.7”, and Santa Paula 1.7”
In Santa Barbara County, Lompoc had 1.1” of rain, Goleta 2.4’, and Carpinteria an even 2”. And, San Luis Obispo County had the highest totals. San Luis Obispo County had 3.5” of rain, and Arroyo Grande 3.4”. Rocky Butte, in the mountains of northwestern San Luis Obispo County, had an incredible 11.6”.
We could see scattered showers Monday. Tuesday, another major storm is moving into the region. Meteorologists say it could bring 2-4’ of rain to coastal and inland areas, and 3-6” for the mountains late Tuesday into Wednesday.
