It’s going to be another night of extremely cold temperatures for the Central and South Coasts Tuesday, with many areas dipping below freezing.
Inland areas of Ventura County could drop to around 28 degrees, while the low could slip to around 25 in the Santa Ynez Valley. Even coastal areas could end up right around freezing.
Gusty wind is adding to the wind chill factor, with wind peaking at around 25 miles an hour on the coast, and inland, and 50 miles an hour in the mountains.
The National Weather Service is again warning people to bring pets indoors at night, and to try to protect sensitive plants. They've issued a number of freeze warnings and watches.
