A non-profit group and a bank have teamed up to help dozens of small businesses impacted by the Woolsey and Hill brush fires with recovery grants. Women’s Economic Ventures awarded more than $238,000 in grants to 38 businesses in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. The money came from Wells Fargo.
The grants were given to small businesses hit hard by things like lost inventory, operations, revenue, contracts and equipment.
More than 21 of the businesses suffered total or significant losses. The grants are intended to help rebuild the impacted businesses.
