Shark Warning Issued For South Coast Beach

Shark warning signs are up at a South Coast beach after two sightings in two days.

An automatic detection device picked up a shark off of Santa Barbara’s East Beach Thursday. Then, a swimmer told authorities he saw a Great White shark Friday.

The ocean off of East Beach wasn’t closed, but signs have been posted telling people of the sighting. They say people entering the water do so at their own risk.
