The Woolsey Fire has left three people dead, destroyed more than 800 structures and counting, and charred more than 98,000 acres of land.
Among the losses are the destruction of most of the western movie set at Paramount Ranch. It's a facility that's been home to movie production since the late 1920's, and in more recent times television production.
The non-profit Santa Monican Mountains Foundation has announced a drive to replace the sets. They were the only working movie set in the National Park System, and a place where visitors could not only see a part of history, but experience whatever production might be underway.
