One of the biggest rock bands from the 1980’s has announced plans to turn two concerts into fundraisers for victims of the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and the Woolsey brush fire.
REO Speedwagon is turning an already scheduled January 12th concert at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza into a benefit. The band is also adding a second concert in Thousand Oaks January 13th.
REO Speedwagon lead singer lead singer Kevin Cronin lives in Westlake Village, while lead guitarist David Amato and drummer Bryan Hitt live in Thousand Oaks. The band members say with two major disasters hitting at home, they wanted to do what they could to help.
