Detectives say they’ve arrested three people in connection with a drug dealing operation which stretched from Santa Barbara County to Los Angeles.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s investigators say they learned about the ring in July, and started tracking Randall Nelson of Santa Maria. The officers say they followed the 55 year old man to a Ventura motel this week, where a drug deal occurred.

The investigators say two other people involved in the deal were followed to the City of Arcadia, where they stopped and arrested. A two year old child with them was placed in protective custody. Some methamphetamine, heroin, and cash was seized.
