Ventura County Apartment Complex Hit By Fire

Fire hits Simi Valley apartment complex

Firefighters stopped a fire burning in a Ventura County apartment complex before it could spread to other units.

The blaze was reported at about 11 a.m. Tuesday on the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue.

Ventura County firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke coming from a second story unit. The fire heavily damaged the unit, but firefighters knocked down the blaze before it could spread.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
