A non-profit agency which helps people in need in Santa Barbara County is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, with one of the anniversary events a concert Wednesday night featuring some major names in music.
Kenny Loggins is hosting the concert at Santa Barbara’s Granada Theater benefiting the Unity Shoppe.
Loggins will be joined by Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys, as well as Jimmy Messina, from the “Loggins and Messina” days.
The Unity Shoppe provides food, clothing, and other necessities for those in need in Santa Barbara County, serving more than 20,000 people a year. The organization also provides a number of other resources, such as clothing for people trying to find jobs, as well as necessities for people left homeless by disasters such as brush fires.
The benefit concert begins at 7:30 Wednesday night, at the Granada Theater.
