Ventura County is launching a new push to help small businesses hard hit by COVID-19. The county has set aside $20 million dollars for a new wave of grants.
The focus is on helping Ventura County’s small businesses which missed out on the county’s first COVID-19 grant program. Qualified and selected businesses will get $5000 grants.
Ventura County CEO Mike Powers says the preregistration period for the grant program is March 24th through 30th.
Powers says the intent really is to help the little guys who missed out in the county’s first small business grant program. Revenues must be less than $2.5 million dollars a year. You can find information on the grant program at vcbusinessgrants.org
