People who have taken COVID-19 tests in Ventura County over the last few days may get delayed results because of an outbreak of the virus among staff members at the processing facility.

There’s no word on exactly how many people were affected at the lab, which is in Monrovia.

Ventura County officials say the lab didn’t have to close, but is now catching up on a test processing backlog.

They say people who haven’t received results after five days should contact the test program.  You can contact the test program if your results are delayed more than five days at covid19@healthvana.com.  The need your name, date of birth, phone number, date of test, and location of test to find your results.
