Ventura County Eases Key Coronavirus Related Restriction On Bars, Brewpubs, Wineries

Ventura County has tweaked one of its coronavirus related health orders to try to help bars, breweries, and other places which serve alcohol on-site.

They had to close at 10 p.m., even on Friday and Saturday nights.  Now, they can stay open until 11.  But, other restrictions still apply.

Bars and brewpubs can only operate outdoor service, and alcohol can only be served with sit down meals.  People are only allowed to sit with members of their households.  And, there is a 90 minute time limit for people eating at the establishments.

The goal is to keep people from meeting in groups where they could potentially spread coronavirus.
