Enos House to be moved from hilltop home for more than 140 years to site of new park

A historic house that’s been a landmark next to Highway 101 on the Central Coast since the highway was built is going to literally disappear from its familiar hillside spot this week.

But, it’s not going to be torn down. It’s being moved to make room from a new commercial shopping development.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports that what’s known as the Enos House will not only be saved, the run down structure will be refurbished.
