Investigators say an arsonist started a fire at the Art Essentials store in downtown Santa Barbara Sunday at 8 a.m.

Fire crews arrived at the scene and and were quick to extinguish the small fire before there was major damage in a store stocked with art supplies and paints.

No injuries were reported and no one was inside.

Damage was estimated at $2100.

Firefighters say the fire was not accidental and they are looking for the public's help to determine who might have been in the area when the fire broke out.
