The community of Goleta is still looking for an official site to call home for its staff and city Council meetings.

For years the community used a commercial building site.

Efforts to relocate to a new city hall, or build a new structure, have failed.

The Council recently ruled out the Goleta Valley Community Center, which the city already owns. The plan to relocate to the Community Center was estimated to cost $37 million, prompting a delay.
