A well-known actress from three soap operas is expected to appear in Santa Maria Superior Court after a head on crash Wednesday morning on San Marcos Pass.
Jensen Buchanan was the driver of a car that collided with another vehicle near Paradise Road on a two lane stretch of the roadway.
Both Buchanan and the other driver were injured and had to be hospitalized.
The California Highway Patrol arrested Buchanan for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
She is known for roles in General Hospital, One Life to Live and the Young and the Restless.
