Another major storm headed towards the Tri-Counties now looks like it could bring significant rain to parts of the region.

The storm is expected to arrive late Thursday. Fueled by an atmospheric river, the Central Coast could get 1-3” of rain, with up to 6” in some mountain areas.

Southern Santa Barbara County, and Ventura County could get 1-2”. The heaviest rainfall is expected between Thursday night and early Saturday morning.

This is a much warmer storm than the last series, so the snow level will remain high, around the 10,000 foot mark. But, the rain could melt some of the snow, creating runoff concerns.
