Nine New COVID-19 Related Deaths Reported On Central, South Coasts

173 new cases of the coronavirus documented in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Even as we continue to see a drop in the number of new COVID-19 cases reported on the Central and South Coasts, the death toll related from the virus continues to grow.

Nine new deaths were reported Wednesday. Ventura County had seven, and Santa Barbara County two. And, 125 people are hospitalized in the two counties as a result of the virus.

Ventura County had 121 new documented cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, and Santa Barbara County had 53.

San Luis Obispo County only issues updated numbers on Tuesday and Fridays.
