Detectives on the South Coast are trying to track down two men in connection with a stabbing investigation which turned into a murder case.
Oxnard Police investigators says the men attacked Jorge Hernandez Maldonado in Del Sol Park Sunday afternoon. Hernandez was stabbed multiple times. There’s no word on what prompted the attack.
The 32-year-old Oxnard man died from his injuries Tuesday afternoon.
Because the attack occurred in a park in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, investigators are hoping they can find witnesses and perhaps even cell phone video which may help identify the attackers.
