A trip to a Central Coast lake ended in tragedy. A man was swimming in the Sandy Point area of Lake Nacimiento just before noon Sunday when he disappeared. A witness saw a man disappear underwater, and he failed to resurface.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team was called. Just after two p.m., they found the body of a man in about 15 feet of water.
He’s being identified as Armando Loa Ramos of King City. An autopsy is pending on the 44 year old man.
