A construction worker is dead after a crane apparently toppled over, or collapsed on the South Coast. It happened at about 1:30 Thursday afternoon, on Camino Del Sol in Oxnard. It’s an industrial area of the city.
Oxnard firefighters say a man was struck and killed. The 54 year old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn’t been released yet. State investigators are trying to determine what led to the accident.
