Community Meeting Planned In Santa Barbara County To Give Public Overview Of Thomas Brush Fire

Fire officials are holding a community meeting Thursday night for people on the west end of the growing Thomas brush fire, to brief area residents firsthand about the situation.

CAL FIRE will host the meeting at 8 p.m. at Carpinteria High School. It was originally set for 6:30 p.m., but was pushed back.  Fire officials will brief members of the public on the fire, and firefighting efforts, and take questions after the meeting.
