A crackdown on the sale of alcohol to minors led to 13 clerks being cited at stores in a South Coast city.
Oxnard Police conducted three simultaneous minor decoy operations targeting stores in the city. Underage decoys under the supervision of officers attempted to buy alcohol at nearly 60 stores.
The clerks cited face a fine and a potential community service requirement, while the business could face fines, and suspension or even revocation of their liquor license.
