Solutions to Santa Barbara's oversized-vehicle parking problem are still coming together, and city leaders have decided to wait six weeks before enforcing a new law.

That law would ban parking oversized vehicles such as RVs, which have been a problem near the waterfront area and in certain neighborhoods.

One group, New Beginnings, has stepped in to help.

The organization is coordinating safe and supervised daytime parking areas in approved lots around the city, including church lots, to help RV owners.
